Speeddate is such a blatant scam I cannot believe that they are able to stay in business. I filled out a profile when I was bored and there was some service you could buy from them for $3.95 called verification. I put my cedit card info down for this but it did not go though. About a mouth latter I opened an email from them and all of a sudden it charged my account $191 putting my account into overdraft. I could not find a service number for them anywhere and my emails to them went unaswered. At this point I called my bank and they where able to give me a number for them. I called the customer service number and got nothing, but stonewalling from them. To add insult to injury the women that prasumable contacted me where very unattactive lived hundred of miles away, or both. It looks like the website used a program to send out fake winks from profiles on the site Then they send you emails that tell you that you have lots of activity on your profile and then if you are not intersed in a membership they hit you with this $3.95 verification service, but charge you $191 for a full year non refundable. I am thinking case action law suit.

It's a scam ripoff. Why not do pleanty of fish it's free and you might accually me contacted by somebody real from the opposite sex.

As soon as I have determined unlawful (fraudulent) practice by Speeddate I have requested that acct would be closed and subject of 191.88 reversed. Upon the telephone contact with the representative I heard an arrogant answer, that it was unfortunate, but my request could not be met, contract will be sustained and consequently 191.88 would not be reversed. The only amount I have allowed to charge was $4.95. Every since, there is the ping pong game between SpeedDate and My Bank BB&T. I am in between.
If there is any legal action against the unlawful practices I would add my case to it.
