Just stay away!

After signing up (upgraded for 1 month) I was experiencing technical issues and had a few contractual issues as well. After 2 weeks of trying to contact them through their on-line customer service form and hearing nothing back, I closed my account (removed profile) and requested a refund. Of course they responded to the refund request pretty fast apologizing, but saying they don't give refunds. Fortunately I had used my American Express. They got my money back for me.

As soon as I have determined unlawful (fraudulent) practice by Speeddate I have requested that acct would be closed and subject of 191.88 reversed. Upon the telephone contact with the representative I heard an arrogant answer, that it was unfortunate, but my request could not be met, contract will be sustained and consequently 191.88 would not be reversed. The only amount I have allowed to charge was $4.95. Every since, there is the ping pong game between SpeedDate and My Bank BB&T. I am in between.
If there is any legal action against the unlawful practices I would add my case to it.
