Speeddate.com - Cookies?

I keep hearing from people who received emails from me saying that I friended them on Speeddate. I never did any such thing. Some of these folks aren't even on the site. It's obviously some kind of cookie that's getting into my address book, but I need it to stop before I alienate too many other people. WTF is with this site??
