Review about JapanCupid.comI've had so much good luck on this site. I only message girls who have been active in the past month or so. I read their profile and write a considered, polite message. I'd say over 50% write back. They tend to complain that most other people send stupid first messages. Of those, I've met up with about half and they have all been who they said they are and, for the most part, have been great to get to know.
Put a little effort into this site, and you'll get a lot back.
Pros
If you message active people, they write back. The people have been real, and nice.
Cons
It costs money. There are free sites, but they just don't have the same size user-base.
