I was receiving messages from members and when I contacted them they said they never send me any messages.
The only way to read a message is to pay $35 a month... isn't that convenient!?
I wonder who sent me those messages!??... well if you have 2% of common sense you'll figure it out ;)
After paying ÃÂã129 to enable messaging , too females who never even read or replied to them , and after the subscription ran out they then charged me anotherÃÂã79 as a recurring payment , and when I complained they said I hadn't ticked a box to stop the payment and couldn't get a refund . There is also the fake messages from young women down south who supposedly were interested in a much older man from the highlands of Scotland !! There is some genuine women on the site but because they don't pay are in no rush to answer any messages .
Pros User friendly web site .
Cons Expensive , scammers , exploiting lonely men .

What makes you think we are single, rich and stupid to join Lunch Actually?
I think it's important for word to get out about LA's methods.
It's almost like preying on singles who are already down on their love lives, to further lose whatever money they have left. End up no love and no money. Can't imagine poverty will make them any more desirable.
Before you go spend money on lunch actually, try to look for urself in social media. Spending money will be de last resort to do.
But to be honest la, sg girl quite realistic. No car dun wan go out w u. No minimum 6k dun wan go out w u. Out of 10 gals only 3 gals is down to earth.
Lunch Actually are all out there to earn money with no quality to talk about. Even some big agency only market their service with "yes" to all the questions but after you join, a different thing emerge.
For example, they use "we need to carefully select the prospective partner. Thus, it takes approx 5 months for us to find a match". In reality, they don't really care about the selection criteria and would look for one when the 5th month is near. Between first to fourth month, they would use their time to organise other events instead. They would also say they got some proprietary computer program to find your match but in reality, it is simply manual matching.

Ok, So I'm sure mine isn't the first topic on this company / program and it certainly won't be the last.
I probably will get flamed, and kicked in the groin but go easy on me please?
I signed this up after a breakup last year, proably a bad idea but couldn't it then, this was in December.
Sometime in Jan'16, I met someone amazing on my own and decided to "try and see how things work out".
Happy to say things are working really well with my girl.
Here, LunchActually plays a part.
So I signed up their package, it was 3k+, yes yes bloody expensive and after I signed it, I just tried not to think about it.
So one day they called, I just told them I found someone, well they appeared sincere enough to congratulate me.
But I told them to freeze my account until further notice.
So its been 6 months since I've been with my girl and things are pretty serious now. (I'm 31 no time to play play alrdy haha)
Dropped an email to LunchActually. Told them I wish to terminate the account. Based on agreement, they would take $800 for admin fees.
Well I found someone really special, not thru them but I was willing to not haggle over the $800.
But it takes them 6 - 8 weeks to handle a refund.
I don't know any other company that takes so long, but ok fine, maybe complex refund process.
This was on 3rd of June.
Fast forward to week beginning 27th June, 4 weeks, I did a follow up just to make sure no delays. They told me "Will follow up with you when the date gets closer", so at least I thought its already in motion.
This is the 6th week, dropped them another email and they said estimated early August.
Wtf?
Honestly I won't make a big fuss if it was a few hundred dollar refund, but we are talking 2.1k.
And right now I'm in need of the funds.
I have dropped 4 emails to the people in charge and have gotten no replies.
I have dropped an email to the cio@lunchactually and well no reply.
I'm frustrated and am stuck because as a consumer I can't do anything.
I feel like going to case but I'm wondering if there are others like me who suffered from poor services by them.
But as a general warning to others.
This company reeks. They are trying to sell Love and attach a big price tag to it.
I agree, the CEO must be laughing to the bank coz he's doing people a "Service".
We met each other through Lunch Actually on a dinner date. After a few dates, we knew we were made for each other and we have never looked back since.
The matching process is simple, easy to understand and very comprehensive. These are some of the good things about Lunch Actually.
1. As this is a paid service, you can be assured the list of people you are meeting, are people who are serious about finding a life partner
2. Unlike speed or group dating, you are getting 100% attention of your date! No distractions.
3. The matching criteria can be highly customized, I do caution against setting too stringent criteria, however we encourage all to go with an open mind and positive attitude, you will never know what will happen unless you try. Thank you Lunch Actually for matching us and letting us find each other.
We have tried various dating site and agencies but without any success but we are truly blessed to have found each other through brilliant Lunch Actually website.
To cut a long story short, we have been almost inseparable since our first meeting and follow up with movie together to a very quick on a trip to Taman Pertanian, Shah Alam which so natural that I finally concluded that she is the one.
Then in less than a year courtship, we planned to get married. We have many plans for a great future together. Both of us had come out of difficult past but fortunately with both of us having positive energy that resonates between us we feel that together we can overcome anything that comes our way.
We would like to thank Lunch Actually for giving us the opportunity to discover each other and wish to encourage others to have faith in finding the perfect partner. Youre a winner
Initially I was thinking to cancel my date as I was busy with work and church ministry, but then LA contacted me again. During that conversation on the phone, I was convinced about Jacks personality from his profile. I then decided to meet up.
We had a good time sharing, exchanging common background and life experiences. We kept in touch and we have been going out together. Weve been blessed to be able to get to know each other well through gatherings and outings with his family members.
We took a pre-marital counseling from church and felt compatible with personality, background, goals and life purposes. We look forward to a life together as husband and wife very soon.

I'm a new member of this site though still I couldn't find my match yet. The good thing is this site is not annoying and you could merely find a fake profile. The Bad thing is very expensive in my opinion.
This site is just a scam
1) Immediately after signup theres all of a sudden so many 'girls' interested in you, and 'near' you
2) You cannot communicate with anyone until you opgrade for "free". But to do that they want you're credit card for "age verification". There is no possible way to tell how old someone is just cuz they can put 16 numbers into a website
3) You're not allowed to upload photos w/nudity (or even too much skin) or that have logos in them. But every single girl is completely naked in all of their pics.
4) All the profiles say the same generic "just a girl looking for sex" sort of thing. No personalities at all
I was a Lunch Actually customer and I had a negative experience with them. After my first 2 dates, I requested my dating consultant to match me with members who are less religious, however, they still match me with other members who have firm believes in their religion. My new match requirements were only updated after meeting another 2 matches. Overall I didn't have much success with my dates. On top of that, I purchased their add-on coaching services which didn't yield any results too.
I was very frustrated with Lunch Actually, I felt like they cheated my money. I posted several negative reviews here and complaints on several forums and websites such as hardwarezone, sgforums, alldatingwebsites.com, petalbytes.com, pissedconsumer.com, singaporebikes.com, vrzone.com and etc.
Soon, Lunch Actually reached out to me. It took them some time, but we eventually sorted things out. They explained to me that I was matched with other religious users because I'm a Christian. The issue was only corrected after they update my profile to a free-thinker.
After the incident, they were still sincere and keen to help me with my dating journey; they offered me several complimentary services
1) Extra free date coaching and image coaching sessions
2) Extra free dates for Lunch Actually
3) Invitation to 1 singles events
4) A fair partial refund
Even though their matching services did not work for me, I'm happy that they reached out to me for service recovery and offered me a fair compensation. They also shared with me (real data) that they are sending thousands of singles out on dates every month, and many members met their bf/gf through their dating services.
After testing various dating platforms, I realized that dating agency and dating app didn't work for me. Personally, I prefer speed dating events. Lunch actually should do more speed dating events.

I have had so called connetcions with dozens of women on this site, first they compliment you then they try to get you on whatsapp or skype. once there they send you pictures that are too good to be true. after some conversation they will finally hit you up for money some how. it will be to help pay their cellphone bills, or to get a camera to see you with. avoid this site period.
I`M JUST A GRIL.
i love bieng called me pretty, but I`ll never believe it .
I`m not always right , but hate admitting I`m wrong
I`m almost always smiling ,but it`s not always real.
I can be read like an open book, but hide so much
I work hard at things, but don`t always get what deserve.
I`M JUST A GIRL.

Absolutely appalling, I've been robbed of everything. Allah curse the web site owners for a scam site to make so much money and ruin other people's life's, How could you put fake profiles on like aishwariya rai when she would never join this site, i suggest you eat my pooh you scammers
Literally the moment I first logged into the site I got a personal message not from the website itself but from one of the other "members" there.
Got like 11 more that I couldn't read without paying before giving in. And most of the messages I received were fake, which I know for a fact since a lot of the messages I received where from profiles that didn't even look at mine.
Pros Easier to find near by active users compared to other websites I've been on.
Cons * Fake messaging from fake profiles
* Scam
* Too expensive
Strange, I seen messages that I did not type, a bunch scamming African women, and narrow minded women from the states, trashy I should get a full refund
I'm a white girl. I joined to date with japanese guys.
I filled out my profile, my "match info". I wrote that i'm looking for japanese guys only.
Nobody reads that.
I get messages from 48-70 years old ugly, fat, white and black men. 1 out of 20 people who send me messages are asian...but even they are 35-50 years old and extremely boring, unable to hold a conversation.
I think normal dating sites like okcupid are better. More asians
Pros - Nothing
Cons - Full of ugly, fat, old white and black men who can't read at all
- No active asian male members
- You can only deactivate your profile, but not delete it
The "Cupid" name is a world wide organization registered i through shell companies in an anonymous tax haven. It has been sold several times for large sums because it is highly profitable and does not pay any tax.
Japan Cupid is a typical example of the way the Cupid companies operate. They use pictures of attractive females to attract males who then have to pay to contact the females. Of course the reality is never the lovely female you were initially drawn to. In fact he is a guy from Africa or an older lady looking to form a connection and then ask you for "support " or help.
The Cupid company makes a lot of money and does not provide any real services.
Pros An excellent way to waste time and money if you are not able to visit interesting countries and actually meet real people.
Cons A complete waste of time.
Run by a company which pays no tax in any country. Sue me if you can prove me wrong "Cupid ".
i just joined last night, and set up my profile and everything...of course i'm only looking for friendship, and i put female seeking female. apparently the website thaught it would be fun to switch/update my profile changing my gender to male [i guess it's one of those "only straights allowed" sites] so, i deleted all my pictures, and changed a few things and deleted/switched off my account
Pros nothing.
Cons 1-selfish! they're greedy, and wont let anyone really do anything unless you pay
2-they FORCE people to seek ONLY the opsite gender
I'm a college educated christian Ghanaian lady. I decided to upgrade to platinum membership and I have been receiving tons of messages but one message got my heart boiling. A man from the UK sent me a message and I quote "so how did you get money to upgrade. I bet you are a Nigerian 419er.Is that your Sis or girlfriends picture". I was so angry I had to calm myself down before replying. Some of the men can be very rude also if you are from Ghana or Nigeria I'm guessing most people just assume you are a scammer because the site includes these two countries in almost all their scam advise which I find very annoying. There are genuine people looking for love from those parts.
Cons Some people just assume you're a scammer if you're from Nigeria/Ghana.
I have notice that all the messages I receive follow the same format and phrasing which means that they are all written by the same person. Clearly they are fake and the profiles are fake.
I believe this site is a fraud.

Review about Lunch ActuallyI was a Lunch Actually customer and I had a negative experience with them.

Lunch actually should do more speed dating events.
afrointroductions is a total scam
Review about AfroIntroductions.comI have had so called connetcions with dozens of women on this site, first they compliment you then they try to get you on whatsapp or skype. once there they send you pictures that are too good to be true. after some conversation they will finally hit you up for money some how. it will be to help pay their cellphone bills, or to get a camera to see you with. avoid this site period.

Review about Muslims 4 MarriageAbsolutely appalling, I've been robbed of everything. Allah curse the web site owners for a scam site to make so much money and ruin other people's life's, How could you put fake profiles on like aishwariya rai when she would never join this site, i suggest you eat my pooh you scammers
Pros
useless
Cons
awfull
Bullshit
Review about Foot Fetish PartnersTotally deceiving website.
Pros
Easier to find near by active users compared to other websites I've been on.
Cons
* Fake messaging from fake profiles
* Scam
* Too expensive
Trashy site
Review about AfroIntroductions.comStrange, I seen messages that I did not type, a bunch scamming African women, and narrow minded women from the states, trashy I should get a full refund
Pros
There are no pros
Cons
Trashy
worst dating site
Review about JapanCupid.comI'm a white girl.
More asians
Pros
- Nothing
Cons
- Full of ugly, fat, old white and black men who can't read at all
- No active asian male members
- You can only deactivate your profile, but not delete it
Cupid is a scam
Review about JapanCupid.comThe "Cupid" name is a world wide organization registered i through shell companies in an anonymous tax haven.
Pros
An excellent way to waste time and money if you are not able to visit interesting countries and actually meet real people.
Cons
A complete waste of time.
Run by a company which pays no tax in any country. Sue me if you can prove me wrong "Cupid ".
fakecupid?.com sounds more like it!
Review about JapanCupid.comi just joined last night, and set up my profile and everything...of course i'm only looking for friendship, and i put female seeking female. apparently the website thaught it would be fun to switch/update my profile changing my gender to male [i guess it's one of those "only straights allowed" sites] so, i deleted all my pictures, and changed a few things and deleted/switched off my account
Pros
nothing.
Cons
1-selfish! they're greedy, and wont let anyone really do anything unless you pay
2-they FORCE people to seek ONLY the opsite gender
Calling me a scammer just because I'm Ghanaian
Review about AfroIntroductions.comI'm a college educated christian Ghanaian lady.
Cons
Some people just assume you're a scammer if you're from Nigeria/Ghana.
Fake site
Review about Marital Affair.co.ukI have notice that all the messages I receive follow the same format and phrasing which means that they are all written by the same person. Clearly they are fake and the profiles are fake.
I believe this site is a fraud.
Pros
None
Cons
Completely fake
