WE ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WITH MONEY THESE DAYS AND WHEN MY HUSBAND CHECKED HIS EMAIL HE WAS GETTING NOTIFICATIONS. THE SITE ALSO CHANGED HIM, WITHOUT HIM KNOWING, $358. AND CHANGE. THE BANK CANT HELP UNLESS THE POLICE TAKE ACTION. ALMOST EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM ON THE PROFILE IS RIGHT, CRAZY. HE CALLED THE WEBSITES NUMBER AND IT WAS A RECORDING. WE ARE SO MAD!!!!
If you're gay and into leather, ALT.com is not for you. In my experience (spanning several years), they actively discriminate against gay guys.
What Sam said in his review is 100% correct. If you use their chat system (when it actually works), and head for the guy-for-guy room, you're inundated by 50+ year old often married drag queens. They're not even good drag queens. In fact, most wouldn't pass for men let alone women.
And if you're looking to knock boots with other men, forget it (unless you're looking for confused heterosexual males in high heels). I'm sorry, I just don't find a 63 year old guy in women's clothing attractive -- yet this is who they think guys looking for guys are looking for.
Walk into a bar catering to the all-male BDSM lifestyle and you won't see a guy dressed like a girl in any of the pictures on the walls (or in the porn on the TV screens). Yet this is Various' and now Penthouse Media Group's idea of gay BDSM.
They claim they're a BDSM and Alternative Lifestyles Personals site but that is patently false. They have absolutely no understanding whatsoever about the market. They just want to profit from it. Well, the easiest way to profit is to give your market what they want -- something they refuse to do.
I've had similar experiences to Sam. It's either 20 Questions time or you get harangued for not buying into what is a fetish of heterosexuals. The male for male chatroom is a lie. It's more old drag queens for old drag queens. 90% of them have never met and are never going to meet anyone so why be on a personals site other than to gratify yourself with your hand?
It's a waste of time going there. It's absolutely a waste of money buying a membership there.

this site was ok for the first 2 days but very slow , i reported a scammer to them who was asking for money right off the bat and was kicked off ,after getting conned into the platnum services . sent numerous emails asking for an explanation , nothing
very poor service ,
guess they need scammers on board to keep there numbers up hey
I'm very leery about japancupid.com's verification process. They want a photo copy of a passport, driver's license, or something official. Copy of passport? This is a fast-track method of having one's identity stolen. Lost American passports typically sell for about $18k on the black market. Terrorist organizations reap the benefits of having formatting information to be sure. Please do not surrender any photo copies of any official documents. Even eHarmony doesn't ask for this kind of information.
Pros Unsure.
Cons The site is based in Queensland Australia, it's called Japancupid.com, and they require passport information(or sensitive), and they're main office for correspondence is linked to a P.O. Box. Sounds great. t(-.-)t
I inadvertently posted this as a comment too.
Foolishly I paid money to join this site. Suddenly all the woman who had supposedly expressed interest in me didn't respond to my messages. I am very suspicious about some of the advertisements. I believe some are real, but the others have been planted by the operators. Given the high prices I cannot even advise trying it out. Having lived in japan as well I can say that the majority of japanese girls aren't interested in gaijin. The ones that are tend to be a little crazy or have some other issues that have meant they have to try and find a gaijin (foreigner) as a last resort. This is a broad stereotype and of course there are exceptions. Don't believe that in general there are lots of hot japanese woman looking for foreign boyfriends. Another problem is they nearly always want to go back to Japan in the long run. Can't believe the bullshit message from the site operator saying that because they are in Australia it is OK. Like there aren't any crooks in Australia. Certainly there is no government regulator that is going to go around and audit them to make sure they aren't creating fake profiles, and sending fake messages of interest.
Avoid this website
Pros Some genuine profiles. Certainly some of the older woman on the site who aren't especially attractive are unlikely to be fake.
Cons Fake profiles, and fake messages. Overpriced. Inflated member numbers, many of the "members" haven't logged in for years. Dodgy privacy issues. Seems to be no way to delete your profile and photos.
Used this for a while and it's not all that great and is rather limited. Many people don't actually pay to use it at all despite all the bumph that you may see on the net.
It is expensive and a con
Pros None
Cons Just wants you to upgrade your membership to talk to people many of whom are fake so buyer beware

If you have encountered a scammer on Muslima.com we would really appreciate it if you could report to us any profiles (with their membership number and any relevant evidence) that you believe are not genuine so we can immediately investigate the situation and take appropriate action.
Met an ultra-hot girl on this site, and we were together a year! Seriously, people thought she was a model or something. We were both 24... and along those lines, you creepy old guys saying this site is "fake" need to wise up- I met 3 or 4 chicks off this site while I was in Japan, just because a few profile are fake and you occassionally get a message from them, doesn't mean the whole site is a scam... IT MEANS NO ONE'S INTERESTED IN YOU!
Pros Genuine girls on the site, privacy protected... seems to pick up a lot of shy japanese girls that don't socialize well (good luck finding a nice japanese girl in a bar). especially good for young guys living in japan temporarily. Don't assume hot girls are always fake- my gf had the sexiest profile on there and it wasn't tell I met her that I believed it was real!
Cons Like others said, some of the girls are kind of desperate or a little weird. Japanese girls by nature are usually looking for serious relationships... true some of them might just be looking for fun, but good luck finding 'em. don't get stuck in a relationship you never wanted in the first place... seriously, think about this guys.
I believe that there are legitimate members on Muslima.com (I am/was one) but in my opinion the site attempts to con them into upgrading their membership to Gold or Platinum using fake contacts.
I joined muslima.com and the very same day an attractive 28-year old Standard Member Sayra from France sent an interest. I responded with a mail message and then determined that being a Standard member myself, Sayra would not be able to read my email. However, just a few hours later, unexpectedly there was a new message from Sayra and her membership had been upgraded to Platinum. Interesting enough, however, since I am on another online dating site (and despite being quite the catch :D), I am quite aware that things don't move quite that fast! So, I chose to do nothing and one week later I checked and Sayra's profile has been switched off. Another member yasmina from Edmonton, Canada then expressed interest and her profile became hidden shortly after. I received another contact from Aludra from France a Standard member whose membership status has now changed to Platinum (why wouldn't someone just upgrade to Gold, or not already be a Gold member?). Finally, I received another interest message from Valiya from the UK all within the span of 7 days.
The reason for concern is also that three of the profiles were of women more than ten years younger than me, outside my country of interest and didn't seem very discerning in what they are looking for. Common sense suggests that this is not reasonable :(
Hope this helps and good luck to those who continue with the site.
Pros Good detailed match information
Free to join
Appears to have several members
Cons Suspecting the legitimacy of the members
Site appears to use deceptive practices to encourage membership upgrade
I had a friend who joined SA and she cancelled her membership after the first three months. She met a guy who was a drug lord, who had connections in her country and threatened here to visit him or else. Now with kind of blackmail going on how can you be safe after allowing yourself to trust some of these men letting them in to know you and then they intern use the information to blackmail you. Well she had inspired me and i started a millionaires club with a different twist, both sugar daddies/mommies and babies get to meet each other in person at a private party every month so they can get to know each other all millionaires are verified as well as their networth. So if you need to find the real deal visit www dot meetelites dot com
I took a good look at this site. To me, it is obviously too good to be true. I say that because, having lived in Japan for more than 10 years, I can tell you that (like everywhere else) there are a lot of good looking girls, and a lot of not very good looking girls. On Japan Cupid, the # of very attractive women is far too high. I expect that many of them are just plants.
I have actually been on this site a total of two years. I have had some great experiences. Once I found I guy that paid me well to be happy I stuck with him. I made an arrangement with one guy on the site. He was 30 years older then myself however, he was really goos in the bed and he paid for everything and I mean everything including my tuition. I received money from him everytime I went to see him and a generous amount of funds also went into my account every week. I was pulling in over $5,ooo.00 from him every 3 weeks. He also took me with him into his jet where I became apart of the mile high club. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO exciting. I ended up moving and we lost touch with each other and I have not been able to find him since then.
Pros some guys are who they say they are
the guys that are real actually don't mind helping out
the site is easy to navigate
this website is gets a very poor rating from me, all i have found are adds for this website and no real reviews. you have to pay to communicate with any other memeber, the only option that is free is to create a profile and send a wink. thats all. you may respond to a pay member email but thats all you can do. send free wink. you also cant see last log in of users, so i believe most users created a free profile and never came back. i believe most of the profiles are not current or active. this site is very poor and takes a lot of time, and you can not remove your profile. it remains forever.
Pros it allows you to create a free profile and thats all.
More than 8 members from this site with photos wrote me saying that they read my profile and interested in me and asked me to write to them. I joined the site paying $89 and I wrote to them my messages sat in the sent box for 10 days saying not read and after 10 days the messages were emptied without anyone reading them. It appears they are not real people, they setup phoney people and send tantalizing messages to trick males to subscribe. I think this is a scam site and I am in the process of notifying to the proper authorities.
I met my wife on this site. I also had some fake "interests" in me from other countries but I chatted with Japanese women that were living in my area. My wife was in Tokyo when we got to know each other. So of course I say the site is "real" but has it's share of scam artists as well.
In short: The site is not a scam but...some of the profiles are.
Just signed up for this website. They claimed the account the service was 15.00 per month, they immediately billed me $191.88. This was not disclosed and when I went to contact them I got no response. This site is a SCAM AND THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND OFFER NOTHING IN RETURN. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO NEVER USE: "SPEEDDATE.COM"
I think the website is a waste of time becasue most members do not seem to contact when you email members. Also i would also like to confirm that i came across phony pictures and duplications of some pictures on other people's profiles which scared me. It put me off but then I continued to carry on my search.
I also believe there are people who are not being truthful and should be barred as a muslim matrimonial website is for marriage not for friendship this is why it is a MUSLIM matrimonial website it is not an asian dating site there are loads of these already on the net and if someone wants to be just friends with someone go on dating sites and not matrimonial sites.
Chnlove has a reputation as being far from honest. It is a multi-level (agencies) run scam. Company claims to wash its hands of the fraud committed. Many stories of translators not acting as proper liaisons. Internet provides many cases going back a number of years now re. this site. Attempts to get large payments from the gentlemen and/or the lady in China; this is, assuming, that a real-life "match" is ever made.
Almost all photos on Chnlove site are doctored with Photoshop, some more obvious than others. Vast majority of "eligible" ladies are well into their 40s and many are divorced or single moms in China.
Scam appears to exploit unsuspecting ladies in China who are often not notified that men are writing in regard to their images/photos.
Stay away !
Pros None. But encourages gentlemen to fly out to China in person.
Cons Pretty much everything. Just use free websites to make contact with potential matches in China and then save your money for the trip(s), not for paying bogus "EMF"s (emails) which are over $6 USD, per message !
While praying to Allah to bless those who created this site abundantly, I wish to express my frustration at how to register with you. I tried to do so, but anytime I ran into some hitches. One, when I thought I had completed the registration form correctly, I would find my sending was not successful. Two, as I am in Nigeria [West Africa], I don't know how to effect payment of the fee. But then I really desire to befriend and marry an American Muslim Lady of between 25 and 40 years. I am a black man, a Muslim and in my early fifties. I am a university graduate with Masters degree in Islamic studies but a practising journalist for 26 years in my home country. Right now I am a media consultant working in the Presidency, at the State House, Capital city, Abuja, Nigeria. I am dark in complexion, of medium height, weight and with some strands of grey hair. I am not fluent in Arabic but English and my mother togue, Hausa. I travelled out of my country only once, to Poland.
If you have any provision for free registration, kindly help me fisabillahi. May Allah continue to be with you in this lofty mission of forging legitimate man-woman relationship. Bissalam.
Pros I find the site as the most practical way of encouraging Muslims to embrace marriage and maximally produce children for the pride of the Holy Prophet, Muhammad, (S.A.W). It is capable of strengthening tiers among the muslims and beautify Islam and so make it more appealing to the non-muslims.
Cons Some devilish individuals may abuse it by pretending to mean sincere about their search for legitimate partners. May Allah bar such individuals from making in-road into the site and its services. Ameen.
Make sure you don't paid for membership. It's a 100% scam. They even create fake ads if not all. Be aware of "I told you so" if you paid for meeting fake ads. If you get a responds or someone shows interest in you, their ad will be deleted or they will not return your responds. Please pass this message forward with all know fake members # they has not been deleted yet. Here's a few I know are fake from experience # 500487, 506143, 501054, 429171, 497574, 496687, 480433,505584, 503565, 321012, 504770, 465889, 496823, 499333,166690, 304226, 162468, 500344, 497252, 471362, 506764, 506356, 505574, 495600, 329045, 501435,
This site is a scam, and I can't believe they haven't been closed down.
The site at one time may have been the real thing, but now the site is
crawling with con artist.
You will not find a real SD on this site. The guys are there for only one reason
to get laid by women stupid enough to believe what they say.

There is virtually nothing you can do as a non-paying member. You can't contact anyone, and if they contact you their mail cannot be read for free.
They will take your pics and profile and use it to attract men and seduce them into paying for a membership, yet give you nothing in thanks.
There are free sites out there that give you total access, like collarme and fetlife
Pros
Can't see any.....
Cons
Virtually zero site access for free members....
Japan Cupid
Review about JapanCupid.comI took a good look at this site. To me, it is obviously too good to be true. I say that because, having lived in Japan for more than 10 years, I can tell you that (like everywhere else) there are a lot of good looking girls, and a lot of not very good looking girls. On Japan Cupid, the # of very attractive women is far too high. I expect that many of them are just plants.
lovely lady
Review about Seeking ArrangementI have actually been on this site a total of two years.
Pros
some guys are who they say they are
the guys that are real actually don't mind helping out
the site is easy to navigate
Cons
None just yet
very poor website
Review about Positive Singles.comthis website is gets a very poor rating from me, all i have found are adds for this website and no real reviews. you have to pay to communicate with any other memeber, the only option that is free is to create a profile and send a wink. thats all. you may respond to a pay member email but thats all you can do. send free wink. you also cant see last log in of users, so i believe most users created a free profile and never came back. i believe most of the profiles are not current or active. this site is very poor and takes a lot of time, and you can not remove your profile. it remains forever.
Pros
it allows you to create a free profile and thats all.
Cons
high price and many many inactive profiles
single
Review about Muslims 4 MarriageMore than 8 members from this site with photos wrote me saying that they read my profile and interested in me and asked me to write to them.
Not a scam
Review about JapanCupid.comI met my wife on this site. I also had some fake "interests" in me from other countries but I chatted with Japanese women that were living in my area. My wife was in Tokyo when we got to know each other. So of course I say the site is "real" but has it's share of scam artists as well.
In short: The site is not a scam but...some of the profiles are.
They are cons
Review about SpeedDate.comDon't waste your time here. They will bill you 191.88

Crookes and Cheats
Review about SpeedDate.comJust signed up for this website.
Pros
NO THING GOOD ABOUT THESE CON ARTISTS.
Cons
THEY RIP YOU OFF!
Miss STILL
Review about Muslima.comI think the website is a waste of time becasue most members do not seem to contact when you email members.
Pros
there were no prons
Sir
Review about CHN LoveChnlove has a reputation as being far from honest.
Stay away !
Pros
None. But encourages gentlemen to fly out to China in person.
Cons
Pretty much everything. Just use free websites to make contact with potential matches in China and then save your money for the trip(s), not for paying bogus "EMF"s (emails) which are over $6 USD, per message !
Mr.
Review about Muslima.comAssalamu alaikum,
While praying to Allah to bless those who created this site abundantly, I wish to express my frustration at how to register with you.
Bissalam.
Pros
I find the site as the most practical way of encouraging Muslims to embrace marriage and maximally produce children for the pride of the Holy Prophet, Muhammad, (S.A.W). It is capable of strengthening tiers among the muslims and beautify Islam and so make it more appealing to the non-muslims.
Cons
Some devilish individuals may abuse it by pretending to mean sincere about their search for legitimate partners. May Allah bar such individuals from making in-road into the site and its services. Ameen.
Bissalam.

Review about Seeking ArrangementThis site is a scam, and I can't believe they haven't been closed down.
The site at one time may have been the real thing, but now the site is
crawling with con artist.
You will not find a real SD on this site. The guys are there for only one reason
to get laid by women stupid enough to believe what they say.
Pros
Not a darn thing
Cons
Fake profiles
Loaded with broke men
Site used as a virtual club to get laid FREE
