The same thing happened to me where in I selected a 30 day membership and was charged for a year at $191.40. Better yet, when I called them back, I was told "Have I got a deal for you" 6 months for only half the price. I'm like no, how about 30 days for the price I agreed to. That called ended in me hanging up on the sales /'customer service' guy.
BEWARE!!! I ENTERED THE INCORRECT SECURITY NUMBER FROM THE BACK OF MY DEBIT CARD, AND THE CHARGES STILL WENT THROUGH.
Not only should you write to the BBB, but, also file a complaint with your state's consumer protection agency.
Pros
Nope..none, other than name recgonition
Cons
Too many to list...clearly there is either a very small customer service staff (I was on hold for 15 mins when I called) or there are a lot of complaints....either way, probably not an organization you want to do business with.
Match.com or plentyoffish.com or a bazillion other websites are worth it. This one unfortunately is taking their name recognition and abusing it and it's customers.
